Bacteriostatic Water (0.9% benzyl alcohol) is a sterile, non-pyrogenic water supply used for reconstitution of lyophilized research compounds. 10mL multi-use vial with flip-top seal. For laboratory use only.
Sterile water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol as bacteriostatic preservative
Sealed glass vial with rubber stopper for repeated withdrawals
Required for reconstitution of lyophilized peptide research compounds
Bacteriostatic Water (BAC Water) is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative. It is the standard reconstitution solvent for lyophilized peptide research compounds.
The 0.9% benzyl alcohol concentration inhibits microbial growth, allowing the solution to be used for multiple withdrawals over an extended period compared to sterile water for injection, which must be single-use.
Supplied in a sealed glass vial with a rubber stopper for aseptic needle access. USP grade.
For research and laboratory use only. Not for human consumption.
BAC Water is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a preservative, used for reconstituting lyophilized research compounds. For laboratory use only.
BAC Water contains benzyl alcohol preservative allowing multi-use over 28 days. Sterile water for injection is preservative-free and single-use only.
Store at room temperature (20–25°C). After first puncture, use within 28 days. Do not freeze.
We currently offer 10mL glass vials with rubber stopper for aseptic needle access.
